TIPS to choose the style of mount:
Where will you be displaying your trophy?
- How high is the ceiling? Remember you will have to accommodate the antlers! A full upright pose will have to be mounted lower on the wall than a sneak pose.
What was the animal doing when you harvested it?
- What story do you want to tell by the way the animal is positioned? For example, a full sneak mount would tell the story of a buck aware of danger. A full upright mount may indicate a confident, majestic buck surveying his domain.
Consider the area you will need to mount in relation to any focal points in the room.
- Do you want your mount to be facing right, left, or straight? You certainly don't want him to be looking into a corner!
